Our
Mission
To improve the lives of low-income families, persons
with disabilities and seniors in Santa Clara County by providing affordable,
high-quality housing.
Philosophy
The Housing Authority's philosophy in carrying out
its mission and goals is to operate with a deep sense of sociological
sensitivity - sensitivity to the needs of low-income families, and particularly
to the needs of the extremely low-income family, as well as an understanding of
the motivations of owners and others of the community with whom we work and on
whom we depend - this must be coupled with a business-like approach to the
operation - and must be and remain financially solvent in order to carry out our
mission and goals.
