Rent Check Processing
Owners can now choose to receive their monthly Section 8 rent check by mail or through direct deposit. If you would like to sign up for direct deposit service, please print, complete and submit the Direct Deposit Form or call Finance at (408) 361-4638 or 361-4628.
Once you have signed up for direct deposit and your account information has been verified by the bank, you will see electronic transfer of housing assistance payments into your account. Owners can receive an email with confirmation of the transfer, however, spam blockers may reject this email, therefore, owners need to add directdeposit@hacsc.org as an “allowed” email in their address book.
For those owners opting to receive their checks in the mail, regular monthly Section 8 rent checks are mailed out on the first business day of the month. For 2009, those days are as follows:
