Below Market Rate (BMR)
and Below Market Price (BMP) Purchase Programs
The Town of Los Gatos Below Market Price Housing Program (BMP) allows low and moderate income households the opportunity to become homeowners. It has a limited number of homes, typically condominiums or town homes, which are sold at a price below the current market value. In return for the ability to purchase a home at a below-market price, participating homebuyers agree to restrict the price at which they may resell the unit in the future and the unit must remain owner-occupied. The Town of Los Gatos also has a limited number of rental units available.
For more information regarding the BMP Program and eligibility requirements, please visit the Los Gatos Below Market Price website at www.losgatosca.gov/bmp or call (408) 361-4664.
The Mountain View Below-Market-Rate (BMR) Program provides the City of Mountain View with a supply of affordable housing for households who work or currently live in Mountain View. The main goal is to provide an affordable, safe, clean living environment for those families and individuals making a contribution to Mountain View and its residents. These Guidelines can be found in Chapter 36 of the City Code.
