Project-Based Rental Assistance

Project-based rental assistance is attached to the unit where an eligible family lives.  If the family moves, the subsidy stays with the unit and a new eligible family can move in and utilize the rental assistance.

Some projects, like Low-Income Housing Tax Credit properties, do not have actual rental subsidies, however, units will be offered at below market rates based on Area Median Income (AMI) limits.
